Building beautiful memories with their children is the height of joy for any parent, and that’s why I have built a world of original poetry ebooks that inspire positive family values in children.
I write and publish books of poetry and children's literature. My passion for writing stems from the lack of good, wholesome books for my own grandkids to share.
William Henry Forester was born in 1950 in the coastal town of Inverness, Scotland. As the son of a fisherman, his early life was intertwined with the sea, rocky cliffs, and ancient tales. In 1968, when he was just eighteen, a twist of fate led him to board the ship 'Celtic Maiden' bound for America.
Life in Maine was not easy initially. The cultural difference, the harshness of Maine’s coastal winters and the lack of close family were difficult, but he found solace in the similarities between Scotland and Maine; both places were shaped and nurtured by the sea. The coastlines of Maine, with their jagged rocks, thick mists, and lighthouses, reminded him of Scotland. This inspired him to begin writing poetry.
Forester’s writing beautifully blends Scottish, Irish, and American elements, and he writes extensively about life in Maine, and about living on the rugged Maine Coast.
